Overview
Paradise Valley is Agadir's easiest escape into nature — turquoise pools carved into a rocky gorge in the High Atlas foothills, reached by an easy walking trail through palm trees and argan groves. It's a relaxed half-day trip from Agadir or Taghazout, lighter on the itinerary than our full-day excursions.
Your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle and heads inland through argan groves, stopping first at a women's argan oil cooperative to see traditional oil-making by hand. From there it's a short, easy walk down into the gorge to reach the natural pools, where you're free to swim, relax on the sun-warmed rock, or cliff jump if you're feeling adventurous. On the way back, we stop for traditional mint tea in a botanical garden before returning to your hotel.
Pickup is at 08:30 AM from Agadir hotels and 08:50 AM from Taghazout, with drop-off back at your hotel around 3:00–3:30 PM.
