Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a tour, excursion, or activity with Let's Camel Tours.

Last updated: August 2026

Parties & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions govern every tour, excursion, activity, and transfer booked with Let's Camel Tours, a family-run travel operator based between Agadir and Taghazout, Morocco. Throughout this page, "we," "us," and "Let's Camel Tours" refer to the operator, and "you" and "guest" refer to the traveler making or benefiting from a booking.

By making a booking, whether directly with us or through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for every member of that group.

All of our tours, excursions, and activities are run as private, made-to-order experiences for your own party, not as shared or joined group tours. References elsewhere in these terms to a "group" simply mean the travelers in your own booking.

Booking & Confirmation

You can request a booking through our website's contact form, by email, or by WhatsApp. A request is not yet a confirmed booking, it simply starts the process. Your reservation is only confirmed once we have received your deposit and sent you a written confirmation, by email or WhatsApp, setting out your itinerary, dates, and price.

You're responsible for making sure the names, travel dates, number of travelers, and any health or dietary information you give us at booking are accurate. We use these details to arrange your private guide, vehicle, and accommodation, so mistakes or late changes can affect availability.

Deposits & Payment

A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking. Your reserved dates, guide, and vehicle are held once this deposit is received, not before. The remaining balance is due before your tour begins, or on the first day of your tour, as agreed in your booking confirmation.

We accept payment in cash or by card, in Euros (EUR) or Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). Card payments may carry a small processing fee, which we'll always tell you about before you pay. Prices are quoted per group for the itinerary agreed at booking and are only guaranteed once your deposit has been received.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before your tour start date receive a full refund of any payments made, minus the deposit.
  • Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before your tour start date receive a 50% refund of the total tour price.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of your tour start date, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.

Rather than lose it outright, a deposit that would otherwise be forfeited under this policy can instead be held as credit toward a new booking made within 12 months of your original tour date, just let us know that's what you'd prefer. Refund requests must be submitted in writing, by email or WhatsApp, and approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method.

Changes to Your Booking

We know plans shift, so we try to stay flexible. Date, route, or itinerary changes requested 7 or more days before your tour start date are made free of charge, subject to your new dates being available for a guide and vehicle.

Requests made within 15 days of departure are handled on a best-effort basis. By that point, guides, drivers, and accommodation are often already locked in for your dates, so we can't always guarantee a change is possible, but we'll do what we can.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Unless your itinerary says otherwise, your tour price includes private transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, a private driver and/or guide, and the activities and stops described in your specific itinerary.

Unless specified in your itinerary, meals, museum and monument entrance fees, personal expenses, and tips or gratuities for your guide and driver are not included and are paid separately during your trip.

Special Requests

If you have dietary requirements, mobility needs, a celebration you'd like us to help mark, or any other special request, tell us as early as possible so we have time to arrange it. We'll always do our best to accommodate these requests, but because we work with local guides, drivers, and small family-run camps and riads, we can't guarantee every request will be possible.

Force Majeure & Tour Cancellation

Your safety comes first. We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reroute any tour, in whole or in part, where we judge it necessary for your safety, due to circumstances such as severe weather, dangerous road or desert conditions, natural disasters, civil unrest, or government restrictions. This applies whether the circumstance affects your specific route or the wider region.

If we cancel your tour for these reasons, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date at no extra cost, whichever you prefer. Beyond this, we're not able to offer further compensation for costs arising from a force majeure event, such as flights or connecting arrangements booked separately with other providers.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every guest arranges their own comprehensive travel insurance before departure, covering medical treatment and evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, lost or delayed luggage, and participation in adventure activities such as camel trekking, quad biking, or surfing. Arranging this insurance is your responsibility, Let's Camel Tours does not provide travel insurance and cannot be held responsible for losses that adequate insurance would have covered.

Travel Documents & Visa

It's your responsibility to travel with a passport that's valid for the duration of your stay in Morocco, and to check whether you need a visa before arrival, based on your nationality. Requirements vary by country and can change, so please check with the relevant embassy or consulate well before your trip. Let's Camel Tours is not liable for any cost or disruption caused by missing or invalid travel documents.

Liability

We take great care in choosing our guides, drivers, and partner camps and riads, but Let's Camel Tours is not liable for the acts, omissions, or negligence of independent third parties, such as accommodation providers, restaurants, or activity operators not directly employed by us. Nor are we responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during your trip, please keep valuables with you and take normal precautions, as you would while traveling anywhere.

Desert and outdoor activities such as camel trekking, quad biking, 4x4 dune driving, and surfing carry inherent risks that can't be fully eliminated, even with careful guiding. By taking part, you accept these risks and agree to follow your guide's safety instructions at all times. If you're traveling with very young children, please tell us their ages in advance, some of these activities are not suitable for them, and we're happy to advise on which parts of an itinerary are appropriate for your family.

Photography & Content

Our guides sometimes take photos and short videos during tours to share on our website and social media. Unless you let us know in writing before your tour that you'd prefer not to be included, we may use images that feature you for these marketing purposes. If you'd rather opt out, just mention it when booking or tell your guide on the day, no problem either way.

Complaints

If anything about your trip falls short, please tell your guide or contact us as soon as possible while you're still traveling, most issues are far easier for us to fix in the moment. If you'd rather raise something once you're home, you can submit a written complaint within 30 days of your tour ending. We'll acknowledge it within 48 hours and follow up with a full response once we've looked into it.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly between us will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agadir, Morocco.

Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect a change in our policies or the way we operate. Any changes take effect as soon as the updated version is posted on this page, so we'd encourage you to check back occasionally. Changes made after your booking is confirmed won't affect the terms that applied when you booked.
