Overview
Aghroud is a small village not far from Taghazout, where local artists have painted the houses in bright, bold colors, a fun and photogenic stop on the way to Timlaline, home to both a scenic canyon and a stretch of sand dunes.
Your driver picks you up from your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout and drives along the coast, passing through Taghazout's surf village, before heading inland to Aghroud. After some time exploring and photographing the painted village, you'll continue to Timlaline: first a stop to visit the canyon, then on to the sand dunes for quad biking, sandboarding, and your choice of a camel ride or a horse ride.
As the sun starts to set, there's a stop for traditional Moroccan mint tea, before the day winds down with an outdoor Moroccan dinner in a banana valley in Tamri, a village known for growing bananas, with a live folklore show depending on group size and restaurant capacity. Pickup time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Drop-off is back at your hotel in the evening.
